VMware to Acquire Thinstall.

Today VMware announced the acquisition of Thinstall. Thinstall is a supplier that makes the virtualization of applications possible. Thinstall offers an Application Virtualization platform with which Windows applications are offered as ‘self-contained” EXE files. I guess those who don't think Thinstall is a valid player will have to think again. VMWare has $$$ and big sales channels to push this technology out. I think this is great for everyone in the application virtualization space because yet another big player wants a slice of the market.
