Citrix Synergy 2011 Video: Brian interviews Wyse about its T50 Thin Client

One of Wyse's many announcements from Citrix Synergy 2011 San Francisco was their new line of T50 thin clients. These are the first ARM-based thin clients they've offered, with a starting price at $239. Since they're not x64-based chips, they run a version of ARM Linux instead of ThinOS. But unlike ThinOS, the T50 does have a local web browser.

Is this Wyse's answer to "Why don't you make a cheap thin client?"

Hay Brian,

whats the use of thin client in VDI infrastructure if it doesn't have much space for cache? Yes it's best to use thin client for use as dumy client.
