It is "Citrix-colored" because I was more or less getting tired of the VMware FUD (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fear%2C_uncertainty_and_doubt) around VDI and was just trying to clear the air as best as I could.  VDI is a good concept but it isn't going to save the world. It has its best use case just like Server Based Computing. Let's be honest though... Citrix has a long road ahead of them and past track records haven't been perfect either (VideoFrame, Extranet, MSAM, Project Vertigo, etc).

I really thought VMware was going to acquire Provision Networks, before it was snagged by Quest.

Hang on tight '08 and and '09 are gonna be wild ride.
