VMWorld is next week. Are you going?

I'll be there blogging (for www.brianmadden.com of course), podcasting, twitting, and whatever other communication media I can think of to use to get the message out. 

I wanted to make sure that you all joined the www.vmworldunderground.com site to keep up with some of my colleagues updates as well. 

Also, I'll be "twitting" so you can follow me if you have a Twitter account.  Just add me to your follows: c1tr1xguru.  Keep checking in here for my reports on the latest and greatest happenings and my Twits as I keep you up to date on the real time stuff.

This year is going to be a blow out event and we all want to make sure that you are kept in the loop as to what is being talked about, demo'd, etc. etc etc.

If you are going to be there, please feel free to stop me and say hi.

I wish I was.  I think Alessandro and the rest of virtualization.info are going to have a great inaugural event.  Maybe I can pursuade some of my other colleagues to carry on the torch to Virtualization Congress.

Don't forget man, I'm giving away 16 copies of your book in the Iowa/Nebraska Hospitality Suite. I hope to get you all up to the Alliance Technologies suite for that as well as chatting with the attendees....

I just picked up your book last week (via Amazon), I thought that it was odd. its width is smaller then most of my books making it stand out amongst the others on the shelf.

We've actually beef confirmed to sign books at the VMworld Store at 1PM PST on Wednesday.  I still like the "Beer for a Signature" idea.

I'll be in London for that one.  Part of the "Beat the crap out of Scott" tour of 08.  There are some fantastic presenters that will be at the show.  Although with its proximity to VMworld, I'm wondering how many of us vendors will be truly showing off "The new stuff" for this show.

I can arrange that Scott!!  If you guys want to come up to the Iowa/Nebraska Hospitality suite and hang out give away some of the books (16 copies) that we will have there and have some drinks, COME ON UP!!! I'm sure the folks in the suite would love to have some time with you all.

We will be attending as first timers in the New Innovator area as well. Check us out in advance at www,thinlaunch.com  (we've done some posting on brianmadden.com)

Stop by if you have a chance...I'd like to talk climbing with you. Do you know Mike or Tommy Caldwell?

We're Minnesotans...that probably disqualifies us from visiting your hospitality suite???

Being from MN certainly does not disqualify you from hanging out with us in the suite.  We are including folks from the surrounding states like MN, WI, IL, SD, MO, KS.  I'd love to talk climbing if you want.  I don't remember the names you mention, but I retired from climbing in 1998, so I've been out of the loop for a while.

My bro called me last week and tweaked me 'cause he's going to VMworld and I'm not.  Brothers... sheesh!  Anyway, some of y'all may know him, and I guarantee Brian does since he was staying at my bro's house last time I visited.  My bro's name is Rick Dehlinger.  Look him up at the conference and tell him that his brother sent you :-)
