At yesterday's BlackBerry Jam conference in San Jose, Research in Motion CEO Thorsten Heins told developers, "We have a clear shot at being No. 3" -- a not-exactly confidence-inspiring message from the former king of the mobile mountain. When he left the stage, attendees were treated to this video about how modern and "better than ever" the upcoming BlackBerry 10 operating system will be -- sung to the tune of REO Speedwagon's 1981 hit power ballad, "Keep On Loving You."
Sources tell me that, if this initiative fails, RIM execs plan to stand outside every BlackBerry developer's window and blare "In Your Eyes" through a boombox.
