Oracle DataStore Req'm

Hi Brian - Are you aware of any Oracle specific req'm with Presentation Server 4.5? I am building a farm w/ 4 or 5 servers and am using Oracle 10.2 for the IMA datastore. I keep getting an error during the install - 'Function InitializeTree2 returned failure in CTX_IMA_InitializeTree2...'

I've seen in some forums that the Oracle Reputil package was req'd for older versions of MetaFrame, but can't find anything documented for 4.5. Thanks.

Looks like a few of the comments upset brian and he spat the dummy. Sometimes cutting your nose off to spite your face isn't always the best thing. This would have been a good bookA few people have heard that a xenapp book is in production but no release date is being mentioned. Is this true? Great if it is

Lay off DUNG. It's not a funny name unless it's a surname and the forenames are HU FLUNG.Anyway - zones we have a 500 server farm with 17 zones - it's giving Citrix nightmares but it works for us!

Hi Brian,You are the best in the world of Citrix and truly appreciate your hard work, effort and time spend on Citrix technologies. I am very new to the Citrix technology and was searching for some books which will explain the CPS 4.5 better than admin doc which come with the CPS installer CD. I was really glad when i saw your book which explained all aspects of CPS 4.5 from basic then got disappointed when i heard that you have cancelled the book. Is Citrix Presentation Server Platinum 3RD Edition came out in the market, anyway we have to wait by 2012 for the Brain's Book to be out in the Market, by that time we dont even know will citrix be in the market by 2012.Come on Brain Madden all are waiting for the book to be released by 2012...............:))))))

Been writing the book for 2 years and then just cancels? No valid reason given, why did you bother starting in the 1st place.I wait with baited breath for your xenapp book - YEAH RIGHT lolThank god for other people who have wrote PS4.5 books. Like someone said earlier if you're a whiz at the subject you could knock a book out like this in a few monthsThink I'll use MIAB and citrix.com from now on
