Before we get into the technical nitty-gritty of Presentation Server, let's take a look at how Citrix and Presentation Server fit into the industry in general. We'll start off by looking at the history of Presentation Server that's important to know. (I'm not talking about which versions came out on which dates. I mean the history of how server-based computing grew in importance, and how this shifted and affected Citrix's product offerings.)
Then we'll look at the various packages and editions of Presentation Server. And finally, we'll take a quick peek at the future of the product.
