This book is designed to provide you with practical, real-world information about the use and design of Citrix MetaFrame XP systems. In order to study the advanced technical details, we need to ensure that you have a good baseline understanding of MetaFrame XP's features.
If you have already read and understand the MetaFrame XP instruction manual, or if you are very familiar with previous versions of MetaFrame, you'll probably just want to skim this chapter.
As you read through this book, keep in mind that each chapter was written separately and that it is okay for you to read them out of order. Of course if you're new to MetaFrame XP, the chapter sequence will guide you through a logical progression of the components, beginning in this chapter with an overview of Citrix's MetaFrame XP solution.
