Citrix has created ICA client software for dozens of different platforms. While the basic functionality of the different clients is the same, each platform has specific features, options, and methods of configuration and deployment.
In this chapter, we'll review the two most popular clients-the 32-bit Windows and Java ICA clients. We'll look at how the different configuration options work and how they impact client use.
For each client platform, we'll study:
- Technical overview.
- Configuration.
- Deployment.
Before we begin examining the details of each client, let's see how ICA client software works and what the different configuration options are.
