It's been about 18 months since we last did a comprehensive end-user survey around desktop virtualization, so we've decided to update and relaunch the survey for 2010/2011:

The idea is that we want to learn as much as we can about your own desktop virtualization environment. Then we'll aggregate the results and post them back here on BrianMadden.com. This ought to give us a good sense about what other companies are doing and should help us know how whether anyone else is doing the same things that we are.
Like years past, the entire first page of this survey is the boring business questions about your company. (company size, locations, your roles & title, etc.) Some people read this and thing, "Oh great.. now they're going to market to me!" Remember, the survey submissions and results are anonymous. The only reason we ask all these business questions is so that we can "slice" the technical answers. (For example, it's always fun to see how the answers submitted by IT execs differ from support engineers.) All the company size and location information lets us slice and share the data based on industry, size, geography, and any other factor that we asked.
The entire survey should take about ten minutes. As an added bonus, we're having a drawing for free admission to BriForum 2011 for those who complete the survey (and who share their email address).
We'll share the results ASAP. We're hoping to get 1,000 responses to give us a good sample size, and once we get them we'll post the results. (Our last survey in 2008 had about 800 responses, so hopefully 1,000 is a good goal.)
Please help us spread the word!
