We've received several emails from people asking us whether we will open registration for BriForum 2008 Chicago before 2007 ends since many people have extra budget money that needs to be spent by the end of the year. To that end, we've created the "early-early bird" registration that's good for an extra $100 off your BriForum registration if you register this year. The registration schedule is as follows:

  • Early-early bird attendee registration is $795 and is valid through Dec 31, 2007.
  • Early bird attendee registration is $895 and is valid through March 31, 2008.
  • The standard registration rate will be $995, beginning April 1, 2008.

You may register now at the early-early bird rate at the Brian Madden Store.

BriForum Chicago 2008 will be from June 16-18 (Mon-Wed) at the Navy Pier in Chicago. We'll launch the full website in January, including details about session submissions, schedule, travel, hotels, the demo lab, and the Geek Out game show. But for now we just wanted to get the registration opened up for those who know they'll be coming for sure. (FYI, we have a bigger venue this year, so hopefully we won't sell out and have to turn people away like we did last year.)

While we're on the topic of extra money in 2007, we're running sale for the month of December where we offer a 10% discount off of the BriForum 2007 Chicago DVDs and our 5-day Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 e-Learning course. Or you could sign up now for one of our live classes in 2008. :)

Am I reading that right "Navy Pier"?  Is is bigger then the Gleacher Center, because I really liked it there (well after everything got sorted out the first day).

Yeah, Navy Pier.  It's a pretty big space, and we're really excited about it.  Gleacher was really cool, but the conference last year had it filled to capacity (without having to simulcast sessions into other rooms and such, which is what we'd have to do if we stayed this year).

Hi Brian.

I and a couple of collegeaues attended BriForum 2006 in Darmstadt.

We were sort of planning to go to BriForum Europe in 2008, but I'm really struggeling to find any indication as to whether there's actually going to BE a BriForum Europe in 2008.

I'm a little concerned if theres actually going to be a european event, since I could see a busy schedule for you guys when the US event has been pushed to a much later date in the year.

Hope you read this - best regards!
