We've just posted videos, PowerPoints, and MP3s from about 100 breakout sessions from last year's two BriForum conferences at www.briforum.com/videos. We also have all the content from BriForum 2005 which we will post as soon as we get it entered into our database. We are in the process of creating and posting videos from BriForum 2007, although those will only be available to people who attended BriForum or those who purchase the DVD sets for now.

Right now this new BriForum video site is very rough. It's just a "down and dirty" dump of all the old content. Now that the new BrianMadden.com website is online (and stable, thanks to engineers from RTO Software, more on that later), we'll focus on building the new BriForum.com webite and creating a permanent home for this content. But in the meantime, www.briforum.com/videos has it all.

Brian, I was reading my feeds then my jaw dropped. It's an awesome move. I was waiting a price drop on 2006 content, once 2007 set was out, so this is a heavens sent aid.

I'm trying to convince my boss to send me to European Briforum 2007 (quite unlikely, but...). In the meantime, when will PS 4.5 books available? I'm willing to take a deep read.

Yeah we just wanted to get the content out there. In the next few months we'll convert this to use our flash-based video player which will make it much easier to use, as well as easier to discuss individual videos.

As for the PS 4.5 book, the new target date is August. Why the four-month delay? Citrix was supposed to have PS 4.5 out in October, which is why we set the April pub date. Their four-month delay meant that we had to delay four months too.

However, we'll be using this new site to get that content out soon too. One of the features of this site is that we can have articles that are part of a series with a larger "table of contents" where we can link the articles together. We will use that feature to put all of the book content out there to get the community's feedback. In other words, that content will all be free too!

Koetzing Hands on WI PPT will not open.  I could not get it open after I downloaded it after session last year either.  Is it me?  ;-)  thanks!  And thanks for posting them for everybody to access.

You know, I seem to remember that he sent those files as a .PPS or whatever that read-only format is.. Maybe try playing with the file extension? I can check when I get home later...

Is there any chance that the book's content will be available before the the book is in hand, so that we would have to wait for the publisher to put it to press and in stores?

When will PowerPoint slides of Chicago's conference be available? Maybe they are somewhere, but I can't locate them... I have to make an overview presentation for my company and I couldn't possibly written everything down.

Are the slides for Briforum 2007 available? I can't seem to find them (which isn't to say, of course, that they're not available!). I still can't login on the Briforum web site - says I need to enroll, even though I already have, twice.

       I believe the video for this session named session83.mov has the video from Tim Mangan's session 102 When Good Software goes Bad - Part 2 embedded into it. Although the TITLE and description etc is correct the content is from Tim's session. Do you have a MP3 or Video from session-83 Managed Desktops that we can download from somewhere ??
