Many companies have encouraged their employees to blog over the past several years. In general, Citrix employees have been fairly quiet, although this is slowly changing. Citrix executives have recently clarified their blogging policy for employees, and now more employees than ever are blogging.

Citrix employee Sam Johnston (an escalation engineer from Ireland) has created a website called citrite.org, a WordPress-powered multi-author blog site offered for host free blogs for current and former Citrix employees. The site currently hosts about a dozen blogs. Several of these are simple “Hello World”-type things, but there are a few early gems (Sam Johnston, Jamie B, and Dave Gallinson).

As I’ve written previously, I’m very excited about Citrix employees sharing their thoughts and perspectives on the industry. I really believe that Citrix can use blogging as a platform to help their customers understand their products, direction, and strategy.

Hi all, would be grateful if anyone could provide positive/negative feedback on the latest v4.2.3 Hotfix for Citrix Access Gateway. We have two Access gateway box's that appear to hang and become unresponsive until a reboot and have been given the v4.2.3 HF as a fix. The previous update v4.2.2 seems to fix some issues and cause some issues.. Thanks

I'm trying to load citrix client onto a customers laptop and it works.
But when I try to go out to a trusted site she gets this error "cannot connect to the citrix server .there is no server on specified address.
She has no firewall up and no pop up blockers.
she has XP /ibm thinkpad.
tcp/ip port1494 enabled, what should i do?

Hello, I'm hoping that someone can help me.   We are expecting two servers to come in any day.  One server is suppose to run the SQL database for one of the systems we use and the other one is suppose to be setup with Citrix for users to access the the database server.  My manager wants to put citrix on the SQL database server as well.  I've never heard of anyone doing this before and I did find something on Microsofts site that SQL is not supported running on a TS server.  Has anyone tried this before? I'm very concerned because this is a hospital system that we are working with.
