Note that a transrcipt and highlights of this chat are now available here

Remember that blog that the Microsoft Terminal Server team just started? Maxim Oustiougov just posted an entry that they have pulled the right folks together for a live chat about Terminal Services in Longhorn. This will be the first chat since the Longhorn TS features were made official, so there will be a lot more that they can talk about this time around. (Remember all the really cool stuff we learned last time?)

We'll also have the opportunity to talk to them about the strategic direction of Terminal Services. The TS team is now part of Microsoft's "Security, Access and Solutions" division, and Ted Kummet, the corporate VP of that group will also be on the chat.

Besides Ted and Chandra Shekaran (who is in charge of TS team and business), there will be many other folks on TS side participating in the chat: Tad Brockway, Nelly Porter, Alex Balcanquall, and a few others.

The chat is scheduled for Tuesday, August 1, 2006, 10:30AM Pacific Time, 1:30PM Eastern Time.

Neither...

I haven't seen any floating computers though, so I'm thinking his research may have failed.

Shawn

Well... and I thought, that real glorious product called stonesac would die without having a chance to get known by every CIO in the world, but as the site still is alive there still is some hope... :-)

Hope to see some of you at Briforum Europe soon (or even the week before at Oktoberfest? Would be glad to take care everything you need (hotel, rental car, etc..) for you, if you want to go to Oktoberfest to officially introduce stonesac in Europe!

Regards Josef

Ahh, I'd love to, I think Stonesac is just the tyep of product that the European SBC crowd had been wanting.  However, I don't think I can afford to make it over there this year..

The pains of being a poor starving CCA.

Shawn emailed me his copy, which I edited for the gazillion grammatical errors.  A readable copy is here:
