Remember how big we think iForum is now with its 70 exhibitors and 2500 attendees? That's nothing compared to CeBIT, march March 10-16 in Hannover, Germany. CeBIT is supposedly the world's largest IT show, with 6270 exhibitors taking up over 3.4 million square feet of exhibit space. (That's more than 70 NFL football fields!)
Of course CeBIT covers all aspects of the IT industry, but I'll be there looking for technologies and products that will be applicable in Terminal Server, Citrix, and server-based computing environments. Stay tuned to this space for updates from the show...
If you're planning on attending, be sure to catch one of the breakout sessions that I'll be co-hosting with visionapp's Bernhard Tritsch. (A fellow author and speaker at BriForum this coming April.) We'll be talking about the future of server-based computing and answering questions from the audience.
We'll be giving two sessions:
- Thursday, March 10, 2005 from 15:00 to 16:00
- Friday, March 11, 2005 from 15:00 to 16:00
We'll meet at the visionapp stand (Hall 1, Stand 5e2, Place J8) 15 minutes prior to each session.
