It's taken a few days longer than I originally thought, but we've just released the details for 36 of the 45 technical breakout sessions from BriForum 2007 Amsterdam at the NEMO Science Center from 8-10 October.

BriForum 2007 Amsterdam is less than two months away. We invited the community to submit session abstracts, and we were overwhelmed with the response. Since this is a community event, we've decided to show you a list of sessions and let you vote on which ones you'd like to see. Read our books interactively online

We just updated the books section of our website so that readers can interactively browse through the books online. We're hoping that this enables the same kind of community discussions around our books that we've all enjoyed around our articles. What do you think?

Take a look at our new video player

After over two years of experimentation, we finally have (what we think is) a good way to deliver recorded technical sessions and training classes over the Internet. We've developed our own Flash-based media player that can show two separate video streams side-by-side.
