This afternoon Nelly Porter gave a presentation on
Microsoft Graphics Remoting: Now, Next and Beyond, and she showed Microsoft's new Live Mesh Project tech preview towards the end. Live Mesh looks really awesome and really reminds me of Apple's
iDisk and
Back To my Mac (scroll to the bottom). Nelly mentioned that Microsoft's beta was open to public, and hat if we mentioned that we saw the preview at Briforum, it would enable us to be on the beta list for Live Mesh. I found the
Live Mesh website, but when I went to sign up for the beta, no where did I see a section where I could comment that I saw the demo at Briforum. Am I alone here? Did anyone else sign-up and get accepted into the beta? Also I mentioned something about
DropBox in Brian's
The Future of Client Computing session yesterday and I passed along a couple invites to some people, and I wanted to let you guys know I have a couple more left if anyone is interested, just reply back with your email.
