Hi,
We were wondering if it is ok to host a Citrix License Server (at our primary site) on a Web Interface Server or does it have to be a dedicated server by itself. Also, how about at a DR site?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Yes, the Citrix licensing service can be installed on a WI server. However, you would typically locate your WI server in a DMZ, so there are better candidates for hosting the licensing service. A server in the same data center and LAN as your CPS farm would be ideal (i.e. on a File server, perhaps a DC). Works just fine as a VM too.

Alan,
Thank you for your response.
I didn't think about putting it on a VM earlier.
That's a better option, since my ESX box is under utilized and I don't reckon the Licensing server needs a lot of juice.

Thanks again!
