I am currently using FAS 500 Asset Accounting 2008.1 in a Client Server configuration. I am testing it as a Citrix Metaframe Presentation server configuration. Everything is fine but I cannot get the proper icon to show up for my published application.

I am using Citrix Metaframe Presentation Server 4.0. I have selected the Common Files as my working directory. But the application icons that I can get do not look at all like the client/server application icon. In fact the best I can do is a "peach" with FAS on it. I hate to deploy this to my user community with the wrong icon. Any hints? Sage Software is stumped at the moment.

Hi Susan,

Use something like ResHack, extract the icon, save it as an .ico and then use that in your published app.

Enjoy!

You can also copy the program executable that has the includes the icon to the local citrix server (copy winword.exe for MSWord) and then use the option within Icon Browser, Source area to "Choose an icon from a locally browsed file"

Not sophisticated but it is cheap and effective.

Best wishes.
