TS lic server upgrade + MS clearinghouse questions, in the Licensing forum on BrianMadden.com

Our Citrix environment is entirely win2000, and we are planning our TS licensing server move from 2000 to 2003 (yes yes I know, we're behind the curve). Seems pretty straighforward to me, let me know if I'm missing anything:

1) Install TS licensing on a new 2003 server
2) Move our existing 2000 CAL to new server from MS clearinghouse
3) Activate 2000 CAL on new server
4) Turn off old server

I will be installing the new 2003 box as an enterprise licensing server. After this move will my Citrix servers be smart enough to switch themselves over to the new server or is anything manual required?


Also, the clearinghouse bit is a grey area to me. Will moving the licensing on the clearinghouse 'break' functionality of my old 2000 lic server? My intent is to be able to roll back if things go wrong. Is there any limit to the amount of times I can move my CAL?
